A New Kind Of Clean: REVIEW

Are you ready for a new, philosophically haunting thriller? Well, buckle up, because this one takes you for a wild ride.
Missy has spent years trying to mould herself into a real working actor. Someone who can become anyone and belongs in the spotlight. But so far, it’s been an endless loop of failed auditions.
But when she is invited to audition for a lucrative commercial, it feels like a light at the end of the tunnel.
But what will she sacrifice to reach her dreams?
I was honoured to receive a hard copy ARC of A New Kind Of Clean by Iain Reid and Ellie Foumbi from Scribner Canada and Simon & Schuster Canada, so I want to say a big thank you to both for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts before publication day!
My rating of A New Kind of Clean: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book truly kept me guessing the entire way through.
There isn’t much I can say without giving key details about this book away. It leaves you with a lot of questions, and I found myself searching for the deeper meaning behind the words I was reading, the chapters and scenes I was moving through.
I guess that’s where the “philosophical” part of “philosophical thriller” comes into play.
A New Kind of Clean comes out on Oct. 6! Be sure to check it out this week.
Question of the day:
How far would you go, and what would you be willing to do to make your dreams come true?
