Tess and Allie have been best friends since childhood. Allie is a self-made travel influencer, and Tess is a legal assistant trying to put herself through law school and working for Allie part-time.
Allie and Tess go caving one day, but as they start descending into this cave, they realize they’re not alone. And when this person follows them down, what was supposed to be a fun day has turned into a race for survival.

My thoughts about Her Last Breath:
As soon as I finished the Taylor Adams' Her Last Breath, I was yelling “THIS WAS AMAZING! JUST PERFECTION!” at the top of my lungs. Too bad no one was nearby to hear it, so I’m telling you all now.
I don’t consider myself a person who suffers from claustrophobia. But WOW, this story had me wanting to puke from how scared I would be in most of the situations presented in this book. I think I can very clearly say that you’ll never find me in a cave. Amateurs call it spelunking, experts apparently call it caving, and I will do NEITHER.
But going back to the book itself, the shocking twists—I did NOT see them coming at all. And there were several! And there’s just an absolutely perfect full circle moment right at the end of the epilogue.
I feel like Taylor Adams should be taking a bow for writing this masterpiece of suspense.
Question of the day:
Would you ever go spelunking? Or have you? If you have, whyyyy do you do this to yourself?! And if you haven’t, please share your reasons why as well!
