I’m so upset because I’d recorded a whole video to RAVE about this book, aaaaaaand it wasn’t until a few weeks later that I found out the video didn’t properly capture the audio… So I had a nice, silent review video! 🤦🏼‍♀️

So, this won’t capture the same kind of fire from the video, but finally, here is my review for My Husband's Wife.

This is the book cover for Alice Feeney's "My Husband's Wife."

“They always think it’s the husband, but sometimes, it’s the wife.”

So, very quickly, here’s what this book is all about: Eden Fox leaves her house one morning for a run, and when she returns home… her key doesn’t work in the lock. When a woman answers the front door, a woman who looks eerily like Eden, she says the house is hers. Weird, right? Well, when Eden’s husband comes to the door, he says that he doesn’t recognize her and that the woman in the doorway is his wife. What is going on here? Who is actually lying?

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My thoughts

My short description doesn’t even capture the pure awesomeness of this book. I would even give this 6 stars if I could. I’d go as far as to say that this is Feeney’s best book yet.

Every few chapters, I was screaming, “WHAT IS HAPPENING?!” I’ve included a few notes I made while reading it so you can see how I was really feeling.

A bunch of the characters in this book are horrible, and then there are a few who are just so badass and then also make crazy decisions… This was honestly such a wild ride.

But in all seriousness, I could go on and on about this book for hours. Unfortunately, Instagram posts can only be so long.

Question of the day

Do you want books to keep you guessing until the end? Or would you like to figure it out a little earlier on? Let me know!
