Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney

Adam and Amelia Wright, a married couple, had their lives going wrong for quite a while—despite what their last name may suggest. The couple wins a weekend getaway in Scotland, but it’s not the romantic getaway they thought it would be. Someone is determined to ruin this entire weekend and change their lives forever.
Oh, and just to add some more weirdness to the story, Adam Wright has face blindness, which he has had his entire life, which means he can’t recognize family and friends, including his wife.
Crazy, right?
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My thoughts on Alice Feeney's Rock Paper Scissors:
I thought Rock Paper Scissors had a fantastic twist as you near the end of the book—there were a couple, actually, that were done very well. There were a few reasons I wasn’t super surprised by most of the twists, such as having read a fair number of Alice Feeney books, but that didn’t detract from the rest of the story. But also, I feel like Feeney left a lot of breadcrumbs to help the reader figure this one out.
And just as a total side note, I felt like the last chapter/epilogue was unnecessary, and I wished the story had ended with the penultimate chapter. But either way, I still really liked the book!
Question of the day:
For the married folk out there, did you/do you follow the traditional anniversary gifts each year? My hubs and I have followed a couple, but most years we just go out for dinner or decide to save our money for something else. Let me know about you!
